Helen Vokatý is an artist based in British Columbia. She studied architecture at McGill University in Montreal, and went on to obtain a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Cape Town. Pursuing her artistic proclivity, Helen completed a BFA at Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver. Her work is wide-ranging, reflecting her bold and inquisitive nature. Current projects include the artistic reinterpretation of oil & gas pipeline maps and using black PVC plumbing supplies to comment on the shameful state of drinking water on First Nation reserves.
